Manitech, the Congolese start-up conquering the jam market

by Je decide dentreprendre

ivi Malukisa, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, is the founder of the start-up Manitech. This agro-industrial company markets four product lines:

  • Jams with a wide variety of 19 flavors to suit all tastes. This line accounts for the largest share of its revenue.

  • Peanut pastes, both salted and unsalted.

  • Sauces.

  • Bottled honey.

In this video, Sivi passionately shares her entrepreneurial journey—from the launch of Manitech, which was sparked by a deep inner revolt, to the daily challenges she faces on the ground. With optimism and strong determination, Sivi is laying the foundations of her industrial empire, as she likes to call it!

She realistically addresses the challenges of the country but also highlights the opportunities offered by the DRC. A strong advocate for Made In Congo, Sivi founded the collective Made in 243, an association that brings together both small and large players in the Congolese industry.

This inspiring portrait is one you won’t want to miss!
