oco Reinarhz, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi, is the head chef of the restaurant Epicure in Johannesburg.

Trained at the Hotel School of Namur in Belgium, he had to return to Kinshasa following the death of his mother to take over the family restaurant.

Later, he settled in Côte d’Ivoire to lead the restaurant at the Le Marly hotel.

He then returned to Belgium, where he became the head chef of the restaurant at Château de Sombreffe, earning the prestigious Three Forks award from the Michelin Guide.

Today, Chef Coco is based in South Africa, where he opened the restaurant Epicure and expresses his passion for Africa through his inventive cuisine.
